'Simply superb, beautiful house lovely spacious rooms and an excellent cooked to order breakfast. Charming host and staff. Cannot be faulted and.....staggering distance from 2 pubs, one gastro - great food - the other a good local with decent ale (when you get them to pour it the proper way and not as Northern idiots want it, like keg).'

'Absolutely loved our stay at The Slow and Easy. Rooms and bathrooms were spotless, the beds really comfortable, and the pub/bar was clean and welcoming. The location is perfect for exploring nearby cities and attractions, making everything easy and enjoyable. A truly relaxing experience and a place the owner should be proud of.'

'The rooms are very comfortable, interestingly decorated, and well equipped with plug outlets, etc. Only negative is that meal service ends at 8pm in the restaurant, and road traffic can be a bit loud (if you are sensitive).'

'Ware gastvrijheid schuilt niet in grootse gebaren, maar in de kleine attenties die een verblijf onvergetelijk maken. Mijn overnachting in The Bear’s Paw was voortreffelijk. Een warm onthaal, een vlotte check-in en een verrassend mooie, koele kamer op de bovenste verdieping — een zegen bij 30 graden dankzij de airco. 'The hotel is wonderful and also the staff is very very friendly!! One little remark, if you don’t take continental breakfast everything is 10£ more per portion… I mean, the rooms are not that cheap for Warrington, then an egg should be included in my opinion! '

'It was a pleasant stay. the next day were flying back'

'We stayed in this glorious hotel overnight as a family of three plus our dog. We had the most wonderfully warm welcome upon our arrival and this was further enhanced by the rustic charm that this lovely hotel exuded by way of its decor. We adore a vintage aesthetic so its appearance resonated with us immediately. Richard and his wife were fabulous hosts and the continental breakfast that they served to us this morning was very impressive .. warm croissants, toast, cereal and an array of fresh...

'Mooie ruime kamer, en goeie ligging. Leuk terras en grote tuin, ideaal voor met de hond. Heel hondvriendelijk.'

'Excellent all around'

'Easy check in and very clean room. Nice location for a night stay before the morning flight'

'Truly wonderful staff, great food, lovely overall ambience. Our mattress was very hard and the bed frame creaked badly which led to disturbed sleep. Breakfast was very good and the bar area and restaurant are lovely places to spend time in.'
