'The home is gorgeous and literally in the center of town. Easy to walk everywhere. Caroline arranged for a taxi to pick us up at the train station and we were met by Lucy who was wonderful. She sat us down with a map of the town. She circled and labeled things she felt we shouldn’t miss as well as places I told her we had things booked for. Dinner reservations were made for us and the recriminations were great. We opted not to have a full breakfast each morning but did have croissants and coffee...

' Beautiful decorated room with a super comfy big bed. The breakfast every morning is delicious and the owner always open for a chat. Large garden and a small gate at the end to go to the vineyards. A small Nespresso machine in the room would make it perfect! ;) We visited Bergerac, Duras, Eymet and Bordeaux. Beautiful area.'

'Very nice indeed. Staff wonderful. Very relaxing food excellent Room comfortable but lack of places to put things. Form over function. Basin could not hold water! No mirror in dressing table area so hairdryer not close to socket. All easily solved. It seemed designed beautifully by someone who had never slept in the room. But. Did not detract. A lovely hotel'

'The host is just so helpful and cheerful, the room is super clean and the attention of detail from the host makes the stay so much enjoyable. Unfortunely for me, my room was the one on the main road and I am a light sleeper, so sleep was not the best experience so agreed with host to reserve a room at the back of the Mas for my next stay. '
