Modern hotel next to St. Malo trainstation
This is a real nice hotel just next to the trainstation. This location is like 1,5 km from the old town of St. Malo, and 1 km from the beach. It means you have to go thru the 'harbour' to reach either one of the two above. The hotel has a real clean garage underneath the hotel, where you can safely park your car. Staff was super friendly and breakfast was more than fine ! Modern rooms with all comfort you expect today. A hotel to be recommended if you not really need to be in the center of the old town.

Mooie en comfortabele uitvalsbasis dicht bij de oude ommuurde stad van Saint Malo. Het was er heerlijk vertoeven. Wel moet je een restaurant buiten de deur zoeken, want daarover beschikt het hotel niet.

We kregen een upgrade en de kamer was perfect. We hebben geen diner genomen maar het ontbijt was ook gewoon goed.

Hotel ligt op 5 minuten fietsen van het ommuurde Saint Malo in een frisse opgeknapte wijk. Voldoende parkeermogelijkheden. Mooie kamers. Het enige wat ontbreekt is een koelkastje en een kluisje op de kamer. Vrienelijk personeel.

Good hotel 10 minutes from the city
We stayed for 3 nights in the Best Western Balmoral hotel. The rooms were very clean and well maintained. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a new area, next to the hotel is a cultural center under construction. The railway station is oppositie to the hotel. The hotel offers paid parking but it's possible to park your car next to the hotel for free. The city center is a 10 minutes walk over a not very attractive road. It's possible to take a more attractive road next to the sea but that takes at least 20 minutes.

Très bien, mais... des détails
Très bien dans l'ensemble, très bien placé quand on a un train à 6h le matin, et pour les dessertes de bus. Quelques petites choses : - relativement mal insonorisé pour les bruits extérieurs. - 1cm de plus de joint de douche et on ne risquait plus d’inondation de la salle de bain. - remplacer les mouchoirs en papier par des serviettes en papier 1er prix fait un peu désordre quand on aspire à un certain statut

Se sijaitsee ihanteellisella paikalla SNCF-juna-asemaa vastapäätä ja 1 km Intra-Murosilta, ja kaupungin ja ympäröivän alueen erilaiset matkailu- ja kulttuurikohteet ovat helposti saavutettavissa kävellen, julkisilla liikennevälineillä tai autolla.Olemme kuitenkin pahoillamme, että sinulla on ollut ongelmia huoneesi ilmastoinnin kanssa.Edelleen alhaiset lämpötilat sekä märkä ja sateinen sää merkitsivät sitä, että olimme edelleen lämmitystilassa.Ilmastointi kytkettiin päälle vasta muutama päivä sitten, kun lämpötilat ovat nousseet.Kiitos vielä kerran kokemusten jakamisesta.Ystävällisin terveisin,Elise DJohdon assistentti

L'hôtel des horreurs
Nous avons pris une chambre sans lumière naturelle pour 80 €, ce qu'ils ne nous ont pas dit, c'est qu'il n'y avait pas de ventilation non plus. L'odeur de moisi était très forte et la douche pour les nains, mon mari ne rentrait presque pas à l'intérieur. Le nettoyage semblait correct jusqu'à ce que je trouve un morceau de papier, qui ressemblait à un paquet de sucre, sous mon oreiller. Bizarre car il n'y avait ni thé ni sucre offert dans la chambre ni ces sachets au petit déjeuner. Petit déjeuner également décevant. 7€ par personne. Peu de variété de produits, tous industriels et de faible qualité. La machine à café, l'espresso était très liquide. C'est dommage car nous avons réservé à nouveau cet hôtel dans 15 jours et ils ne veulent pas annuler la réservation... la vérité est que pour le prix, nous nous attendions à quelque chose de plus décent. Nous l'avons pris car il était proche du centre. Conseil! mieux vaut marcher 5 minutes de plus que de rester ici !

Monsieur,Nous sommes désolés que vous ayez eu une mauvaise expérience lors de votre voyage mais votre commentaire ne nous concerne pas.En effet, le tarif de votre chambre n'était pas de 80, vous étiez en chambre 408 qui dispose d'une grande fenêtre (donc de lumière naturelle) comme toutes nos chambres dans notre établissement. De plus, toutes nos chambres disposent également d'une ventilation.La douche de votre douche était une belle et grande douche à l'italienne.Notre petit-déjeuner n'est pas au tarif de 7 par personne et nous proposons un large choix de produits et spécialités locales telles que les crêpes, ou encore le caramel au beurre salé mais aussi et surtout des produits préparés par notre responsable petit-déjeuner tels que le far breton, divers gâteaux et tartes ou encore son granola.De plus, nous n'avons pas de future réservation pour vous dans notre établissement donc nous ne pouvons malheureusement pas l'annuler.Cordialement,Elise DAdjointe de direction
