'The property was perfect for our group of two families with children from 2-9 years old. The pool was perfect temperature, and there were a number of good activities nearby. We particularly enjoyed Chateau Talmont. The nearby beach was good, but we were caught out by not having made reservations for our large group on a couple of occasions. '

'Lovely property in an ideal location within walking distance of a beautiful beach, shops, restaurants and the village of Talmont.The villa is well equipped and we all enjoyed the pool. It was very hot during our visit and fans in the bedrooms would have been appreciated.Communication with Axelle was excellent and she was quick to respond to any queries.'

'The host famy are very nice people and explained everything well. The house is light and welcoming. The outside area has a great pool and the garden is large with various seating options. We especially enjoyed eating outside at the large table. It is advertised as 9 people but realistically two beds were on the floor, so suits 7 perfectly. We very much appreciated the late check out due to no booking following us. Thank you for a wonderful stay!'

'The house and garden are exceptionally beautiful. There's plenty of seating, making it ideal for a larger group. The beach is very close, and shopping is within easy reach. Anita and Gilles are excellent hosts, extremely friendly and helpful. Overall, a perfect place for a summer vacation!'

'House large enough (for 3 adults and 2 children) and well- equipped , resort nicely situated : walking distance of rocky beach and small shops. (A map on arrival would have been nice) Disappointed by lack of large pool advertised (competitive swimmer in our party was looking forward to being able to do lengths) but delighted with private pools. At these prices, we should not have had to pay extra for bedding ,cleaning rtc. Please note, electricity problems were worrying and emergency numer...

'Gite très bien situé, près du centre ville et à proximité des commerces. Il faut saluer la propreté de cet appartement avec une deco très recherchée. Les hotes sont très accueillants et à l'ecoute du moindre problème rencontré par le locataire. C'est un gite à recommander absolument pour son confort en tous points et l'extrême gentillesse des proprietaires.'

'Super contact avec le propriétaire, très belle villa fonctionnelle et décorée avec soin, ambiance cosy, moderne et chaleureuse. Environnement calme et commerces à proximité. Rien ne manque, une propreté nickel chrome, dépaysement garanti, idéal pour faire une bonne coupure estivale. Les pieds dans l'eau pendant que le barbecue frit, impeccable.'

'We spent a lovely week, with 4 adults and 6 teenagers and the house was spacious enough for everyone, with different sitting areas in and outside the house. The kitchen is very well equipped, the pool is great to have, especially since the beach, which is a 5 min walk away, has lots of stones. '

'Na een heerlijke vakantie drie pogingen gedaan om een mooie recensie te schrijven. Tot drie keer toe een melding gekregen dat het afgekeurd is. Waarom? Werkelijk geen idee. Men verwijst mij naar een onduidelijk (Engelstalig) reglement waar ik ook niet verder mee kom. Contact opnemen met VRBO lukt niet, ook die weg is zeer lastig. Zelfs met goede bedoelingen om een nette recensie te schrijven kom je er in sommige gevallen, zoals in dit geval, dus niet. Helaas moet ik mijn pogingen nu staken, want...

"I'd already been there twice before and was completely satisfied. But this time I was very disappointed. It started with the fact that my credit card had already been charged the morning before my arrival. Then, unlike my previous visit, I was given a very, very small room, even though I had requested the same room. Finally, the quality of the food in the restaurant had also been downgraded. The most positive thing was the very friendly lady at the reception who even went out of her way to place me in a slightly better room."
