'The staff is excellent specially Alfonso and Alberto. Good location. The management is very attention to detail; at night they give you a lavender sachet in the day they give you complimentary Nestcafe coffee machine access. The food at the restaurant is delicious at a gourmet level with a fare price. They also have live DJ at the bar. I loved everything about this hotel!'

'Everything in the description of the property was accurate. Reliable service. Location is good if one is interested to catch a flight or just comes into SJO. It is not a place to spend a lot of time. It is an honest three-star hotel.'

'Een prachtig sfeervol oud gebouw vol met gangetjes en trappetjes. Zeer vriendelijk personeel en schoon. Prima voor een paar dagen San José. De locatie is een beetje er tussen in. Eigenlijk te ver van het vliegveld en ook net iets te ver om te lopen vanuit het centrum, maar als je een rustige plek in de stad zoekt en dat geen probleem is, is dit de perfecte locatie. Goed ontbijt, hartelijke ontvangst.'

'Clean, well prepped room and bathroom. Lovely garden area. Great breakfast prepared early to accommodate our early flight. Hostess was informative and very nice. The area looks a bit dodgy but don't let that discourage a stay at this affordable but pleasant, relaxing hotel.'

'This time I booked the Courtyard by Marriott just for my wife, 3 year old son and my mother in law. I choose the Courtyard because they always treat the guest very well, the rooms are very clean, the people who work there very friendly and the breakfast is the best there is! My family enjoyed it a lot and next time we are in San Jose I will definitely go back here!'
