'We did have some checking in issues - we didn’t receive a key box code and had to ring the host at midnight. We found it quite hard to reach the host in the days leading up to the booking.'

'Lovely little bolt hole next to a great pub. The bed was very comfy and the shower was amazing. The outside seating is overlooked by the main road and due to roadworks it was a bit too busy with standing traffic to sit outside. The pub next door was very good and we enjoyed an evening meal and breakfast the next day.'

Our only compliant is that we checked out over a week ago and have still not received a refund of the deposit by bank transfer as promised even though we were informed it was being paid. We stay in a lot of holiday lets with refundable deposits and have never had to use a bank transfer system before. Using a credit card guarantee is in our view far better as bank transfers...

'This is a lovely property, managed by a friendly and responsive host. I very much appreciated the high standard of cleanliness, especially with the linen which was impeccable. 'I had a lovely stay here with my mum. We had the siena suite and it was exceptionally clean and as per the photos. Was really nice to have the terrace and kitchenette aswell. We recieved a warm welcome from friendly staff who helped us up to the suite with our bags. Great central location and well priced too. Would definitely recommend!'

'Looks like the listing however, the room is very dirty the washing machine is full of mold and moldy water. after leaving the room for a while you can smell the mold everywhere in the room. we booked it because it has a kitchen however the oven does not work the stove takes long time to turn on and the plates and cutlery provided was dirty room was not cleaned properly at all. it was very poor the tv aswell does not work well takes a very long time and just very old. overall good if you just...
