OCEANVIEW Rodanthe - Atlantic Dr. - Share ALEX'S HIDEAWAY with your family this year! Start your vacation off with a splash in the private pool with a poolside Tiki bar or a dip in the soothing hot tub. When it's time for a break, step inside to the first-level game room with pool table and kitchenette which boasts a bar, full-size refrigerator and microwave. Just around the corner you'll discover a quiet den with comfortable sofa and chairs and a large television where you can attach your game console. Also on this level is a bedroom with a pyramid bunk and smart TV plus a half bath. On the second level you will enjoy a good night's rest in one of three master bedrooms (two kings, one queen), all with private baths and smart TVs, plus there is a laundry room with new, large-capacity washer and dryer. There's one more king master bedroom with a private bath and smart TV on the top level. The great room provides ample seating for the group around the large screen smart TV. Ocean-to-sound views can be enjoyed through the windows or from the decks. The culinary masters will feel right at home in the well-appointed kitchen preparing meals for the family, then dining in the adjacent dining area with seating for 10. If your meal plans require grilling, there is a propane grill and covered picnic area in the ground level breezeway. And don’t let the four flights of stairs intimidate you when it comes to hauling groceries and luggage as there is an elevator to make the job a breeze! Could use a good cleaning

The property was very nice , however whoever cleaned it did a very poor job . We were a little disappointed with that. The area was nice and was a short walk to the beach and to the pier

Alex’s Hideaway

The location,views and pool area were great. The house itself has not been cleaned in a while. There were actual chips under one of the beds on the 2nd floor....no vacuum has touched it. The fans were caked in dust. Bathrooms, floors etc were just dirty. I don’t believe the floors have been swept or vacuumed in quite a while. The bathrooms were barely wiped down if at all with soap residue leftover. Several things were not in good working order...2nd level toilet had to be plunged on an ongoing basis for it to flush properly, dishwasher did not clean the dishes very well, lamps throughout the house would work sometimes and other times not, one of the TVs on the second floor in one of the bedrooms would not work. The house was a nice structure and great layout but just needs some work and a good cleaning. I wouldn’t stay in this home again just due to the cleaning and items not working properly.

Pure Heaven

Absolute perfection. Location, decor, owners, amenities, etc. We were more than happy with everything. Alex’s Hideaway was a breeze to enter with Keyless Entry and easy peasy to unload with the elevator. We were able to create memorable meals with the grill and fully stocked kitchen and unwind and rejuvenate with the pool and hot tub. All of us were able to find peace and quiet in the master bedroom suites!! We HIGHLY recommend this home. We really appreciated all the pre-arrival information from the owners. We kept in touch with them during our entire visit. What wonderful people! We will be sure to return!!

Fish, Surf, Enjoy the Beach or Relax in the Hot Tub...This home has it all!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Alex's Hideaway! The property has every amenity you and your family could enjoy. There are 4 suite bedrooms with their own bathrooms and an additional bedroom for the kids in the basement. Each room has a smart TV and we easily accessed our personal streaming services. There are multiple decks to enjoy the sunrise and sunset views! The home has a private pool and hot tub and game room to enjoy as well. There is also access to a beach cart, sun tent, and many pool and outdoor games. The property is a very short walk from the Rodanthe Fishing Pier and the rental includes a weekly pass for the pier. We spent our time dipping our toes in the surf, watching dolphins, catching fish, collecting shells and soaking in the sunshine! And when you return to the house, there is an outdoor heated shower to rinse off, so nice! There are several restaurants also within walking distance or very short bike ride. The kitchen was well stocked with all necessary cooking needs and there is an elevator for those that have trouble with stairs or to unload all of your luggage (which was very convenient). You won't be disappointed with Alex's Hideaway!

Great location!

Love the location of this home! Walking distance to the pier, beach and restaurants! You have a wonderful view of the ocean from the top level and even the second level. There are ALOT of stairs in this home, so I don’t recommend for anyone that has health issues.
