Amazing value for the price! Relaxing, open & beautiful.

We have a beautiful cape cod home and we are a short walk to the beach. Our home is relaxing and the perfect beach vacation home. We have lovely sound views. We are also a 3 minute walk to the brand new playground and skate park in Rodanthe.
The ground level has covered parking for 3-4 cars, outdoor shower and fish cleaning station.
Upstairs you find the main house. We have 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The master bedroom has a king size bed and master bath. The master bedroom and bath are handicap accessible.The shower has a seat and grab bar and the toilet has grab bars. The second bedroom has a queen bed and the third has a full size bed and twin size bunk bed. Two of the bedrooms have a television with cable. There is also a television in the living room. We have a large open kitchen that opens into living and dining areas. This space is great for entertaining a group of 7.
We also have an enclosed porch that has heat and a/c that can be used as a game room or extra place to relax. Here we have foosball table, dart board, card table and games. This is also a wonderful place to watch the sun set over the sound. We have a wrap around porch that is great for spending time with the family, watching the sun set or grilling out.
Also we have a ramp that wraps around the house which is great for people in a wheel chair or have trouble with stairs.
No need to worry about linens. We provide linens,sheets and towels. We don't make the beds but the clean sheets will be waiting for you. We only ask that you wash them and put them in the dryer before you leave.
We believe you will find all you need here. It is beautiful and spacious. Perfect for a family of 5-8. Great for entertaining and right in the middle of Rodanthe.

  • Bonner Bridge is one of North Carolina's most well known man-made structures of it's kind (The Linn Cove Viaduct on the Blue Ridge Parkway is probably the most well known). This location makes for a great getaway at the Outerbanks to spend an entire day (and night). The location is popular for fishing and is ideal for landscape and astro photography. You can have lots of fun on some of the dunes, although getting the sand out afterwards is a big hassle. This is one of my favorite images from this location. I love the warm light tones and the shadows that create a contrast in the foreground sand. It is created from a single exposure with only minor modifications made to adjust overall contrast and brightness. If you are interested in wildlife, the Pea Island Wildlife Refuge is nearby and is a very popular location. Great house! Most comfortable bed in the Master Bedroom that we have ever slept in! Weather impeded most of our trip but we were very happy with the house and communication with Rebekah. But, if you’re wanting to be smack dab in the middle of all the commercial activities of the beach this may not be the place for you. But , if you are interested in a quiet retreat near the beach this is perfect! We would stay here again!

We loved this home & Rebecca was great! Bike rental is right across the street and we were able to bike everywhere and ditch the car. Quick access to the beach & not far from the sound. Pro tip: the beach access address may take you to a private beach house so turn one entrance before Midgett Dr, just past the Shiny Tiny Walkup. Note that 2 of the 3 bedrooms have high windows that are almost like a little skylight, so if you're sensitive to light you may need to sleep in the queen bedroom. King and queen mattresses are on the softer side but I slept fine in the queen. We had a great time here and we will definitely be back!

The house is awesome. This house is worth every penny. We had 4 kids and 4 adults and everyone had there space when they wanted it. The beach is literally a short walk or drive across the street. There is a general store across the street that has mostly anything you would need. The only thing I wish is that we could have stayed longer!! This house is worth it!

The thoughtfulness and love was evident

The feeling of hospitality and home came from more than just the property itself. The kitchen lacked nothing from what you’d have at home. There were laundry supplies waiting (which should be replaced by the renter in appreciation). There were faith based things for the kids and on the walls, the concern of which is real love. There were even ice pops waiting for the kids in the freezer! Clean, beautiful and convenient on top of all that. The beach access is almost directly across the road. There’s a playground and a skate park a couple lots down the sidewalk. Just a great place for a family to stay.

OBX Family Vacation

We absolutely loved this house! It was very clean with a spacious open floor concept in the main living/kitchen area. We could all hang out and enjoyed many laughs together. The bonus game room was a huge hit for the teens in our group as well as the basketball goal outside. The beach was a quick walk or drive across the road. This house allowed us to have the fun and relaxing vacation we had hoped for!
