'Villa White Queen is, zoals de naam al doet vermoeden, een prachtige, grote villa, met dito tuin. Wat we als storend hebben ervaren is de gebrekkige communicatie met het onwennige personeel, een groepje jonge knapen. Slechts een enkeling sprak verstaanbaar Engels. Verder hadden de grote kamers gebrekkige verlichting, geen koelkastje en geen koffie- en theefaciliteiten. '

'Great location inside the fort walls, so close to shopping, dining and historic sites. Staff very so nice and helpful, and the breakfasts, which were different every day and were freshly made local food, are probably the best breakfasts we've had in any country when travelling overseas. 'Friendly and happy staff in all areas which says a lot about how the hotel is run. Had my room unexpectedly upgraded on arrival due to a fault found with the originally booked room. The room I had did have a small issue with the private jacuzzi leaking but no major issues. Food and drink were excellent throughout my stay. Highly recommend staying here to anybody wanting a few days of relaxing peace after touring the country.'

'This is an amazing property run by amazing and friendly staff. The rooms themselves are unusual and special in design, with an outside (but private) bathroom which is unlike anything else. The pool is nice and the area is surrounded by trees where monkeys jump around and entertain you, but we had no issues with them as they are the shy kind! Would definitely recommend and is great for visits to Galle and Dakata beach which is excellent for surfing. '
