This was our 5th stay at Kasa (4 Winter, 1 summer) bc it was a good value for 2 bd/2 ba. But we noticed a change in mgmt since our last stay in Dec ‘24.
Each response from mgmt seemed written by AI: full of empathy with no real solution.
In the past staff has been very responsive. With each stay we requested pool towels prior to arrival and they would bring very nice ones that said BASECAMP on them. During this stay we were told there has been a change in policy and we should use the bath towels provided instead. There are only two bath towels in each bathroom which meant there weren’t enough towels to bring to the pool if we wanted to have a clean towel to shower after. Unless we laundered them ourselves (washer/dryer is In kitchen)
In the past the kitchen was well stocked so you could make meals. This time, there were only 2 cooking utensils provided: a pasta scooper and a soup ladle.
The place is clean, but the couch (same one from our 2022 stay) looks very worn down. And from both bathtubs we pulled a very large, grotesque nest of hair that was slowing the drains.
The most disappointing thing was the hot tub which we look forward to. It was only lukewarm during the last few days of our stay. And the response was a generic acknowledgement of how disappointing it is and they will be sure to address for future guests. Sadly, this place has really gone down and without the amenities it made dealing with issues like constant street noise, not worth it.
