Negatief: Netheid, voorzieningen en staat van de accommodatie en faciliteiten
The first room was a wreck, wires everywhere, not enough outlets for even the tv the tv box and the nearby lamp to be plugged in at the same time, down right filthy, stinky, small roaches hanging out under the fridge that didn't even work next to the microwave all on the vanity counter leaving no space space for anything else there. Sheets were dirty, floor was sticky, heater was either on full tilt or off the auto function did not work, no laptop counter as shown in the pictures. Switched to a new room which was reasonably well kept and reasonably updated, nicer desk, decent spot for a laptop but no chair have to sit on the edge of the bed to use lol. Saw only one small roach in that room. The rooms are not big and howard johnson is in the same facility, rooms and office, as the travel lodge. I am wondering if the extra couple of bucks for travel lodge room would have been better spent but i feel thats unlikely. Night 2 i heard what sounded, in my opinion, like a man yelling at the top of his lungs followed by what sounded like, in my opinion, gunshots probably around 10-15 of them all randomly spaced over a 30 minute period, one here, two or three there, couple more then that sound of a grown man yelling. No sirens ever followed.was some overly drunk man popping shots off in the street or a homeless man hit pole with somethi? 30 minute after that experience i heard what sounded like a grown man screaming in agony around 4 times as if he were seriously injured or something.
