'The hotel really lives up to the name and expectations. Lovely lobby with smooth jazz and friendly staff. Big room with a terrific view of the swimming pool with the city skyline in the back. Amenities were great and so was parking. Would 10/10 recommend staying here!'

'The Chateau Laurier; one of Fairmont's true gems is located right on Rideau Street in downtown Ottawa, steps away from the Byward Market and the shops on the Sparks Street Mall. The staff is superior; they treated me like royalty, and could not have done more to make my stay fantastic. This is the only Ottawa hotel I will ever consider staying in. The hotel is so beautiful, with so much history. I highly recommend it to anyone staying in Ottawa.'
