'We loved staying at this hotel. It’s a 25 minute drive from Cortina city but the location is very lovely and quaint. The staff (servers especially) are wonderful and my husband said the pizza was the best he had in Italy (we ate pizza every day for 2 weeks). They offer gelato and there’s a cold spring water fountain across the road from the hotel, but if you’re anticipating wanting other snacks, best to pick up when you’re in a bigger town / before you head back to hotel.'

'The woman at reception was incredibly helpful. The road to Selva was closed the following day and she found suitable public transit options and let me check in early. The hotel also prepared a box breakfast as I had to leave early the following day. Definitely far above and beyond what I expected.
