'Leuke week gehad in Castelnaud. De eigenaar is erg vriendelijk en stuurde ons nog wat informatie over ridder/tempelier Hugues de Payns, die een plekje heeft in de tuin. Mooi huis, met een heerlijk verwarmd zwembad, met uitzicht op het kasteel en op de beboste vallei. Voor rustzoekers ideaal: naast af en toe de kerkklok ( van het mooie oude kerkje dichtbij) hoor je alleen het gezang van heel veel vogels: indrukwekkend en rustgevend tegelijk. 'Logement idéalement situé à 15/20 min à pied du centre historique de Sarlat. Grande piscine chauffée quasi privée (en 15 jours nous l'avons eu uniquement pour nous sauf une fois où le neveux du propriétaire nous à rejoint, ce qui n'est pas gênant). Elle est clôturée pour la sécurité des enfants et située dans un grand parc arboré. 'Het huis is gelegen op een hoogte op ca. 5 km ten westen van het centrum van Sarlat. De buurt is extreem rustig. Het zicht naar het zuiden vanop het balkonterras is prachtig. 'Good communication from property manager before arrival. House is at the end of a long rural lane, we enjoyed the seclusion but a vehicle is essential to get anywhere.
