B&B in Ragalna

'This is a funky little bed and breakfast in a very weird neighborhood. The bed and breakfast itself was beautifully equipped and furnished in a very fun way. We enjoyed our stay very much. We happened to get there late at night so driving through the neighborhood was a little bit iffy for us, but the next morning we walked to breakfast and all was well.'

'It was an excellent stay in a lovely villa located on the outskirts of Catania, in a room with a private bathroom. It is a gated property with an easy parking and we even got our own gate opener. It’s a historic property run by a lovely duo of the mother and daughter, eager to share their suggestions on local restaurants and places to see. If you want to stay closer to Etna and avoid the traffic and parking hassle in Catania, this is a place to stay. '

'My family and I loved strolling the property admiring all of the various trees and plants while enjoying the views of the sea and Mt Etna. The owner even makes his own marmalade with fruit grown on the property that was served to us for breakfast. Property is quiet and was the perfect distance for our meeting with our Mt Etna tour company. Also enjoyed going to nearby Riposte that was a short drive away. Only issue was not being able to connect to WiFi but hey, that's not why you visit Italy.'

'The hosts are remarkable people. The property is basically an estate that has a couple rental rooms. Rooms are spacious with balconies overlooking an olive grove. I cannot say enough positive about the home and the gracious hosts. Highly recommended.'
