'We stayed at the hotel for one week and really appreciated the cleanliness of the room, the comfort of the bed, and the heating system. All the staff who assisted us were very kind and welcoming. The location is convenient, and even the we left early and returned late, it was always pleasant to come back. Our room had a renovated bathroom, and although the décor was not modern, it was well maintained and presentable.'

'The room was clean and relatively well appointed. Bed was very comfortable as were bed linens. However, we stayed three nights and our room was never cleaned. And, the room across from us had a dog that barked literally every waking minute keeping us awake. We complained the first day and were told the desk staff was aware of the problem but yet nothing was one about it! This lasted thursday - sunday. It was unbearable and i felt so bad for the dog!'

'Booked this hotel thru Expedia and got a very good price. It is just around the corner from the Hartford train and bus stations so it's wonderfully convenient. Just a few issues - First, the front door on Asylum Street is locked, with no sign to tell folks to walk around to the side entrance. Second - when we opened the door to our room, we found that IT HAD NOT BEEN CLEANED after the previous guests checked out - bed not made, used towels all over the bathroom (!)
