NOT LUXURY - VERY HOT OLD ROOMS - VERY CROWDED - VERY LOUD
If this property didn’t advertise themselves as luxury with luxury prices I could have been more generous with stars.
The good:
The only saving grace is the overall very kind and attentive staff. Food is decent. Had some really amazing meals and some pretty terrible ones. Drinks are decent, although well liquor is cheap so be specific how you want your drink made.
THE BAD:
The rooms are so old and run down. When you leave the room the electricity turns off. You can’t charge your phone/ electronics while you’re out of the room and the AC turns off. It is so hot when you return.
Everything is falling apart and very old. Our curtains were falling off, fridge and AC leaking. We pointed this out day 1 and no alternatives were offered. The last night of our stay the ceiling came partially down due to water damage and got all over my husbands suitcase. Again no attempt to rectify the situation.
I hate being sold things on all inclusive vacation. They immediately try to upsell you to ‘members only’ then we got tricked into going to the ‘travel club’ by saying it was and upgraded breakfast. No, it was a sales pitch. Then when we tried to leave the man tried to make us feel guilty.
The pools and beach’s chairs are occupied with belongings from 8am onward. Everyone wakes up early to stake their claim. But then half the time they’re empty.
Our room had a lot of street noise and city music all hours of the night.
