Room service was horrible. It was never 100%. Mini fridge not restocked, lack of new towels, sometimes was after 3pm when cleaned. Staff wasn't very friendly, and the language barrier was very challenging. The food was like the same everyday, and wasnt very good. The restaurants was a challenge to go to do to the reservation process. If you couldn't get in you had to go to the buffet that gave you the impression of leftover food from the night before or two. The pool area and the beach was about the nicest thing. The resort inside looks out dated compared to its sister resort just next door. If you dont mind kids its a 100% better and prettier. The staff needs to interact better we are on vacation to explore. I've heard great things about the DR and the resort made it sound unsafe, dont get me wrong they had a excursion table, but we booked one and the driver was an hour late after we had to call. We wanted to go shopping and got taken to a hut store in a back hole in the wall, and that driver left us there. The resort needs a lot of help in many ways. You dont want to judge it by the cover you see, because the inside is a struggle to get thru. So much that the lack of enjoyment lead to just a handful of pics of memory.
