Villa degli Affreschi is a luxury historic villa nestled on the highest point of Positano, almost directly above the sea. It was built in 1741 by wealthy merchants that made this building the venue where to discuss business and from where they could observe their ships coming from the sea. This historic villa has been completely renovated in 2013 and offers elegant and ample spaces where to spend your holidays or for exclusive events.

===== ACCOMMODATION DESCRIPTION =====
The entire property can be reserved for weekly stays or for weddings and other private ceremonies (up to 120 people). In low season, individual rooms can be booked without having to reserve the entire villa. Villa “degli Affreschi” is only 15 minute walk from the beach and a few steps from the road. From there you can enjoy fabulous views of the sea, the coast, of Positano and the island of “Li Galli”, in total privacy, cuddled by a professional staff that makes this villa equal to a 5 star luxury hotel. In fact at Villa degli Affreschi every morning you will be served breakfast on one of the terraces, enjoying an amazing sea view. Furthermore there will be a Chef at your disposal during your whole stay, so as to taste the most delicious Italian dishes and much more.
The property is immersed in a 1000 sq m garden, while the building itself is 500 sq m large and has 350 sq m terraces, there is plenty of space where to relax and it has an outdoor swimming-pool as well. It consists of 8 bedrooms all with bathrooms and it can accommodate up to 16 people in total, but it is possible to add two more beds and on request it is possible to rent two more bedrooms at extra cost.
Lastly, all the rooms are equipped with all comforts in order to satisfy the most demanding guests that will spend a relaxing and unforgettable stay, finding a complete assistance typical of a 5 star luxury hotel, such as: daily (8 hours) personal chef-cooking service, maid service, Concierge service and porter service, included in the rental price. Finally, a further plus: guests will be offered a complimentary welcome dinner upon arrival and one cooking lesson during their stay.

Neighborhood and transport
Positano is renowned all over the world for the fantastic views it offers and the houses built in the rock. It is for sure one of the most enchanting places of the world with a unique landscape and a wonderful sea.
However, it is good to know that among its features, there is inevitably need to do different steps to move on foot, therefore people with mobility difficulties may have some problem.
The car is advisable to move freely, as an alternative to taxis or public transport.

Rental rules
The prices are for 16 persons. 8 persons can be added in other 2 rooms, price on request.
Check-in during on Saturday from 4:00pm till 6:00pm;
Check-out on Saturday within 10:00 am;
Damage refundable deposit: € 10.000, to be paid prior to check in, the entire amount will be returned at the end of the stay less any charges in case of damage to the property.
Guests can give their credit card details as guarantee for the damage refundable deposit.

City tax: from 1st April to 31st October € 2,50 per person (from 10 years onwards) per day.
Parking: the villa does not have a private parking, we collaborate with an external provider, the cost starts from € 80 per day. They provide valet service.
