It’s heritage in its purest form.
Once a family home, this house is now entering a new phase as a guesthouse. Two separate bedrooms, one on each floor.
The main entrance leads to the kitchen and dining area.
No cars pass by—only the metro (5 min) and bikes—and even that’s no easy feat. We got around on bikes!
“Vérité Dame” is a great place for people who want to experience what life was like in the 19th century, but with a few modern touches—though one thing missing is an elevator!
"Vérité Dame" has three floors: the first is a common area (kitchen, dining table, reading area, full bathroom, and a long terrace). The second floor has the first bedroom with a double bed, a desk, a sofa, and a TV; the third floor has another bedroom with two single beds and a small desk.
"Vérité Dame" has access to a vegetable garden tended by the homeowners. All kinds of vegetables and flowers grow there, in harmony with a rather unique surrounding ecosystem.
"Vérité Dame" is very comfortable on hot summer days and during the cooler months, without the need for air conditioning. Its insulation works remarkably well for a house that is over a century old.
From “Vérité Dame,” you have multiple options for getting to the city center—all just a 5-minute walk away! Subway, train station, bus, bike rentals, car rentals, walking trails, monuments, city hall, theater, movie theater, market, cathedral, police station, bars, music bars, restaurants, bakery, supermarket (10 minutes away), grocery store!
Don’t hesitate to reach out—we’re here to answer any questions or accommodate special requests, such as pet accommodations, shopping lists, additional guests, and other needs.
