'Stylish hotel, friendly staff (but highly automated check-in and out process) and decent size rooms. Location is perfect. Just outside the “old town” (where many homeless people live) and close to good food, shopping and cinema. Next door is Water Avenue Coffee (which is great). Rooms are pretty basic but comfortable.'

'Staff was kind and accommodating, when I told the bartender my budget he immediately pointed me towards a local bar that was within my price range. The underground pool was very interesting even though I didn't use it those who did loved it. That being said my room was very dusty, the AC filters were caked in dust. The bathrooms were clean enough but they are 4-6 per floor instead of in the room. I would heavily advise bringing shower shoes and trunks/bathing suit for the showers and underground...

'The hotel was in a great area for us and the staff were nice. We could do a lot in a walking distance of the hotel. The downsides were the bathroom and the door to the room. The bathroom had a funky musky smell and the front door wasn’t sealed at the bottom so you could hear all of the hallway noise. When rooms near us shut their doors it would shake our bathroom door and the slamming noise would travel into our room at all hours. Other than that things were nice and the bed was extremely comfy...

'The hotel is clean and modern. The room is perfect except foe the noisy fridge. However the service is not as expected. Paid for breakfast and at 830 the first day they were already cleaning up and the assortment was limited. Second dat there was not even breakfast. I am still waiting for the promised breakfast. '

'This hotel is kind of funky, but then again so is Portland. In fact, the population takes great pride in being weird and they live up to their reputation. The staff was absolutely lovely. They were accommodating, helpful, cheerful and professional. The rather large outdoor sitting area, complete with tables, lounge chairs and several fire pits was a very nice amenity. However, the room that we stayed in was super small and cramped. There was not enough surface space for a coffee maker and little...
