« The George is opposite the Severn Valley Railway Station, perfectly situated for us, as we had steam train tickets. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, but the hotel is on a busy road which was noisy early in the morning. The breakfast was very good, and portions are generous. We dined in The Gurkha restaurant one evening. The food was excellent. Overall, a pleasant stay and very good value. »

« Joules and her Son were absolutely wonderful hosts. We couldn’t have been made to feel any more welcome and we had absolutely everything we needed for our stay. The breakfast was outstanding - lots of choice and super fresh and tasty. Joules’ baking was a great surprise treat, a lovely touch in our room on arrival and the Brownies later in our stay were out of this world! « After a long journey we found the parking a little hidden. The house is up a slope. The house is small and comfortable as one would expect. The breakfast was super and I wish we had been able to take more advantage of it. We had a medical emergency and Dawn, the landlady ,was so helpful and kept the room vacant in case we needed to stop an extra day. « We received a very warm welcome from hosts Jackie and Rob and our stay was absolutely exceptional! Our room was clean, neat, well appointed, with a refreshments tray including lovely homemade cake and the folder containing menus and directions for the nearby pubs for meals was well thought out and presented. « The temperature in my room was 17° and never went above 18° despite my request. So a fan was snoring all night. The shower was cold too. and the light was dim at night. I was afraid of crossing a polar bear! Location is great if you attend an event at Telford International. »

« Great little find here! Lovely pub with great atmosphere, food fab with onsite restaurant. The room was really well presented and lovely decor. My room was facing south and west on the hottest day of the year, thankfully the staff provided a fan and there was a well stocked fridge in the room too. Breakfast was continental style in the room in a lovely hamper, plus yogurts, milk and orange juice in the fridge. Would go back again when in the area. Thanks team. »
