'We had lovely time staying at the Cleveland Hotel. The room was excellent and the staff was very helpful.'

'Clean, cosy, well equipped, well situated, friendly welcome. Only stayed one night, but a comfortable evening and woke well rested for work. Definitely coming back.'

'Great stay, room was large and clean, bed and pillows extremely comfortable, breakfast was excellent, so much choice and very tasty. Also got a car parking space on site. Hosts were lovely. Nothing to complain about at all🤗'

'We had a fabulous time. Great communication and welcome from owners. The apartment was beautiful, the decor, the outlook from sitting room window, with all the trees and birds. Kitchen was really well equipped and lovely touch of a cake, buscuits, milk, water and soft drinks. Beautiful products in bathroom and super comfy bed. We will definitely be back in the future. '

'Had a lovely stay at Kethla house, location was good. Bed was very comfortable owners were very welcoming and friendly. Really enjoyed the breakfast as well. Would definitely recommend.'

'A good location to explore Torquay, Babbacombe and the surrounding area. Very well maintained clean place, car parking in front of the building. Very convenient location to the centre/harbour ( less than 10 mins by car). Darren & Jo are very helpful and friendly hosts. Nice breakfast, pre order the night before and it's served right on time, delicious. We were very happy staying there!'

'The hotel is only about a year old so the building and all the fittings and furniture are in as-new condition. The staff were all cheerful and a delight to work with. The food was good both breakfast and the evening meals. The location right on the foreshore is attractive with lovely views of the sunrise but it is well away from the centre of Torquay. When I arrived Google maps had the location 300 metres too close to the main part of Torquay so you need to check this before setting a route.'

'I had such a lovely stay here. It may be a modest B&B, but it was absolutely excellent, and as a solo female traveller I felt completely safe, comfortable and genuinely looked after. My single room was spotless and had everything I needed, including a lovely en-suite and a big window. The bed was incredibly soft and comfortable, and even the little details were thought of — when I arrived, the owner brought me a bottle of cold water, which was such a lovely welcome. Breakfast was fresh and...

'Excellent Guest House! Good location, very friendly hosts, nice rooms, and lovely breakfast. Highly recommendable.'

'We received such a lovely warm welcome from Vanessa and Cameron on arrival at the Millbrook, which immediately made us feel at home. Hotel was absolutely spotless, and breakfast was piping hot and delicious, in fact it was the best breakfast we have had. Vanessa and Cameron worked so hard to make everyone’s stay perfect. They took the time to get to know each guest individually. We loved the well-stocked tea tray in our room and the mini fridge, which was restocked daily with fresh milk and...

'Een erg prettig hotel met zeer vriendelijk personeel. We hadden een schone, ruime kamer met uitzicht op de baai van Torquay. Vanuit het hotel is het leuke centrum en de levendige baai goed te belopen.'

'Nice hotel with friendly personnal'

'Julie and Gary were absolutely lovely and super helpful. They helped heat up milk for our little one and were friendly the hole time. I would say I think personally found the mattresses slightly uncomfortable, may be a preference. The only true negative, so the reason it was not 5 stars for us was the shower was weak, so couldn't just stand underneath it, had to hold it over the body part to clean. Aside that, amazing place, lovely people! Thank you both.'

'Buitenzijde is prachtig, maar binnen is sterk aan renovatie toe, wij kregen een kleine kamer aan de achterzijde. Het zou prettig zijn om bij het boeken ook een foto van de kamer te hebben die je daadwerkelijk krijgt. De plaatjes waren prachtig, maar resultaat valt in praktijk tegen daardoor'

'Oud gebouw, personeel was niet zo vriendelijk. Goede matras, oude kamer, heel warm in de zomer. Fijn dat er een fitness en zwembad is'

'Great location, but some room for improvement Great location, just a stone’s throw from the main beach in Torquay. The flat had all the amenities we needed for cooking, which was a plus. Unfortunately, there were a few things that let the stay down. The dining table only seats two people, despite the flat accommodating four. This meant our children had to sit at the table while we ate standing at the kitchen counter. Although the toilet looked clean, there was a noticeable smell of urine. The...
