    The property offers approximately 2,000 square feet of indoor living space and an expansive 600-square-foot covered oceanfront porch, providing an exceptional setting to enjoy the surrounding coastal scenery.

    The Space

    The main floor features a spacious, open-concept living and dining area with nearly 21 feet of windows overlooking the ocean. Enjoy beautiful coastal views while relaxing, dining, or preparing meals.

    The fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, cookware, dishes, and other essentials for preparing meals during your stay.

    Bedrooms & Bathrooms

    Sunset Bluff House comfortably accommodates up to 4 guests, with two queen bedrooms available on the main floor.

    Primary Bedroom: Queen bed with private ensuite bathroom.

    Second Bedroom: Queen bed with access to a separate full bathroom.

    Third Bathroom: An additional full bathroom is available upstairs.

    Please note that the two upstairs bedrooms are closed and unavailable to guests. The upstairs bathroom remains accessible.

    The home also features a small main-floor office, ideal for guests who need a quiet workspace.

Outstanding, and relaxing

The property was everything we hoped for. It was private, relaxing and yet still local to all we wished to see and do. We could not have been happier.

Perfect ocean getaway

We loved our stay at the at the aptly named " Sunset Bluff House." Wonderful place to unwind and refresh your soul. Quiet and serene with the ocean right in front of you. Very clean and neat with great amenities. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Beautiful Location

We were treated to an amazing sunset upon our arrival. The views from the property are exactly as advertised. There were opportunities for beautiful walks, and the proximity to Yarmouth was perfect for our needs. We found the garbage directions challenging - and I suspect it would be the same for most visitors who are unfamiliar with the regulations in Nova Scotia regarding garbage and recycling.

Beautiful home and beautiful location. But my positive comments stop there. The property owners were M.I.A. Despite many attempts to communicate with them, they refused to answer us. The night before our departure they claimed to have tried reaching us by phone, but that was not true.We took every step to conserve water during a time of drought but still the well went dry only 3 days into our stay. We were 5 people with no water whatsoever for 24 hours — no flushing of toilets, no washing of hands. When water was restored it was black. For the remainder of our stay we could not drink the water. Did the property owners reach out to us even once during this time to apologize for the situation NO! If you suspect your well is low and you are renting out your property you take the necessary steps to have water delivered—before it is empty. The maintenance folks were helpful and did what they could for us. I know the property owners were in touch with the maintenance people but they refused to communicate with us. A simple apology and maybe a gift card for a McDonalds breakie to compensate us for the inconvenience would have changed my opinion of the hosts. Their refusal to acknowledge our existence or the water situation they left us in is deplorable. We have booked through VRBO many many times throughout North America and Europe and have always had the best of experiences until now. These “hosts” obviously went to the school of “take the money and run” property management.

Unrepresentative Listing with Poor Communication - will not ever return to this listing

This was a long-planned trip to visit family (great grandmother & her daughter, who is our 65yo aunt). It was 3 couples (father, mother, son &his wife, daughter and her husband - and 3 children under). We come to Nova Scotia 1x / year to visit &look very much forward to it. We were fairly disgusted upon arrival as some things we noticed at the house were not representative of reality. First, the house was pictured with beautiful rocking chairs on the rear porch. These were locked up in the basement and we waited around for the property manager one day (several days after arriving) to bring them up from the locked basement. The second thing that frustrated us was how there was nothing featured on the listing showing that water was limited (1 load of clothes every other day / quick showers / etc.). The house was not overly clean (dirt under couches and on rugs). The dishwasher was not even mounted to the counter, so that every time we opened it, the whole piece nearly came crashing down on us. Finally, what frustrated us most of all was the "all but" threat that we were told we could not have any "parties" or "events" at the house because our grandmother / aunt came to visit each day. They never stayed the night at all. This had to be "settled" by the property manager coming over to "talk" with us and work this out. This was an added and unnecessary stress that we did not deserve. We abided by all the rules and occupancy requirements at all times. Horrible experience.
