Cozy two bedroom with all the amenities, incredible views of the gulf from the upper and lower decks, home is only 3 years old and sets on the end of a culdesac. Quick walking distance to the beach, close to the Big Store and the Ferry which takes you right into Galveston, for ghost tours, restaurants, more beaches and shopping!

Had all we needed in the kitchen. Beds were comfortable and loved the electric recliners to relax and watch Christmas movies. Close access to the beach and in a very quiet part of the island.

This is a small house, by Bolivar standards, but it was clean and included all the amenities like towels and kitchen gadgets. The host responded quickly to my minor wifi problem. (The wifi is Starlink, and works great if you choose the right network.)You can judge it by the two biggest problems:1. No kitchen table to spread out my computer stuff and work indoors with a view of the ocean. There is a nice picnic table on the outdoor deck, but I got unlucky with the weather.2. The ocean view was marred but the back of another house. I could still see the surf, but there was that house...If these are the worst problems (and they were) that's good news. Overall, it was fairly priced, and maybe a little better than fair, relative to other Bolivar rentals.

Super cute place and very clean. Check-in/out was very easy. We loved the views of the beach and ocean. The big patios provided a wonderful place to sit and enjoy the ocean views. It was so nice! Kitchen was fully stocked with cooking equipment and utensils. Anything else we needed was just a short walk or drive down the road. Loved that we could even drive on to the beach nearby. The only thing I wish I had done, was take my own bed pillows. They have pillows but they are very thin and flimsy. No support and not comfortable. Would definitely like to stay here again!

The house was just perfect for us. Check in instructions given by the host were spot on and easy to understand and follow. The house was clean, well stocked and with one of the most comfortable beds in the primary bedroom that I have ever slept on. The kitchen had everything I needed even though we did not cook a lot, to put a nice meal together. Elizabeth Bell is a gracious host and would love to rent from her again sometime.

Under expectations

Check in was easy after we asked several times to get the information a little earlier since we arrived from germany and didn't have internet till we got in the house.The internet conection was really slow 30Mbits was the highest. The TV wasn't working right. We had 8 channels no internet connection till almost the end of our 3 weeks stay.As we arrived after a 23 hours trip there was nothing cleaned, not even the beds were made. The owner organized the cleaning crew at 10pm. They never came back with washed sheets. Glad I started to take it off and washed it on ny own, so I could use at least the sheets and pillow cases for the Queen bed again.I organized the closet to find bed spread for the Queen bed.The view was amazing and it is only a short walk to the beach. The lack of information of things to do, restaurants to visit, plus local shopping was disapointing. A faster response, sometimes would have been nice.

Very cute property with gulf views

Everything was decorated and stocked. Bed had some sand in it but we refreshed it in the laundry. And it was very comfy after long days prepping for a wedding. Our only regret is not being able to enjoy the amenities and beach. We were there for a wedding and would love to come back and be able to cook, relax and to enjoy the views and beach
