'Les Beaux Chenes', a recently renovated traditional stone-built 'Mas', with a large swimming pool, 12m by 6m. Set in 4 hectares of private oak and pine woodland, yet only 4 kms from the listed, historic Roman village, Pont de Barret, with many amenities. Surrounded by countryside and mountain views, we offer 3 self contained one bedroom gites and a wonderful location for a relaxing holiday in this undiscovered area of Southern France.

One of the best kept secrets in Southern France, La Drome-Provencale is less well known than neighbouring Provence. With the sunflower, lavender and starry nights but without the crowds.

A wonderful location for nature lovers, birdwatchers and artists, with golden eagles and owls overhead, vultures nearby, wild boar, deer and hare in the neighbouring countryside.

The climate and quiet roads mean that you can walk, run or cycle many kilometers or just a few, to take in the wonderful scenery. The owners are happy to recommend some local walks, make suggestions on travelling further afield or leave you to explore on your own. As enthusiastic motorcyclists and classic car owners, they can recommend off the beaten track road experiences, with stunning scenery and hidden wayside restaurants for a leisurely lunch or dinner.

The largest organic producer in France, this is a great place for those who love good food and wine. Excellent fruit, vegetables and cheese make this an ideal location for vegetarians, as well as meat eaters. Perfectly placed for sampling a wide range of excellent wines from across the Cote Du Rhone.

Many Roman and medieval villages and sites to explore nearby or further away. The historic towns of Montelimar, Crest and Dieulefit are each 25 minutes away. The city of Valence is 50 minutes to the North, whilst Orange is 50 minutes South. Avignon is just over an hour. Marseille is 2 hours South and Lyon 2 hours North.

Here we present 'St Maurice', a one bedroom ground floor gite. Sleeps 2-4 persons.

Access via ground floor terraces to the front and to the rear. Leading to:
-a large lounge, dining area, with comfortable sofa bed.
- a modern, fully equipped kitchen.
- separate w.c and shower room. Shower 160 cms.
-1 bedroom with 1large bed, 140 cms.
