De 2e kamer vonden we minder, het was een upgrade volgens de vrouw bij de receptie maar zo voelde het niet. In de aparte slaapkamer stond de airo naast je hoofd, niet te doen. Verder genoten van ons verblijf en van Maui. Erg om nu de nieuwsberichten te lezen over alle branden. '

'Het hotel ziet er heel nieuw uit. Mooie grote lobby. Snelle liften. Groot zwembad met veel ligbedden en mooi gelegen om ‘s avonds de zonsondergang te bekijken. Bar met vriendelijk personeel. Goede gym. Ontbijt inbegrepen. Enkel wel last van de hongerige vogeltjes bij het ontbijt, maar dat komt ook door het open karakter van de ontbijtzaal.'

'What a fantastic hotel! I travelled to Maui with my husband and two children aged 5 & 8. Upton arrival the valet helped with our bags, gave the children and us gorgeous necklaces and check-in was quick! I didn’t like that the room we received was such a stretch to walk to so came back and the really helpful manager, despite being almost at full capacity moved us to a higher room category with a beautiful partial ocean view. 'This is an older but clean property. While it could benefit from some updating, it is well kept. It reminded me of the 1980s in many ways, but that also reflects the reasonable cost. Easy access to the beach. Near many great facilities and quiet. The staff including front desk, cleaning crew, and grounds people were nice.'

'This was a beautiful villa across the street from the grand wailea. Booking included full use of the resort, which was excellent. Included was a shuttle service with uber-like app that we could use to go anywhere within a 1 mile radius. This was a great stay'

'Wij werden ontvangen door Patrick met zijn gulle lach, een lekker lavendel watertje en ijskoud doekje. Het personeel in de Andaz is erg service gericht en vriendelijk. Het hotel heeft een mooi decor. De locatie fantastisch, met strand voor de deur. Erg relaxte sfeer. Andere hotels in Wailea zijn veel drukker. Klein minpuntje - prijzen van de drankjes, eten etc, dit geldt voor heel Wailea.'

'Pros: Biggest plus at this condo was location -- steps from the beach, dining, shops, etc. One bedroom condo was also very clean when we arrived, well supplied, and spacious. Great pool, especially midday when everyone is at the beach. Kitchen was well stocked and there was plenty of tp. Condo was quiet and beautiful landscaping provides a lot of privacy. Cons: No view so we did not spend time on the lanai. Water filter needs replacing; no through the door chilled water while we were there....

'Net hotel met fijne kamers. Ontbijt was goed, Tevita "the breakfast guy" doet goed zijn werk en is erg aardig! Zwembad en jacuzzi zijn helaas al vroeg dicht waardoor we er geen gebruik van hebben kunnen maken.'
