'Had an enjoyable stay at the Hitching Post. Character little hotel in nice community and area. Terrific access to Black Canyon of the Gunnison North Rim! 'It was an adorable little room. I thought I got two double beds and it was only one, probably my fault. There are a lot odd amenities listed that are only in some rooms not all of them. It listed a kitchenette and there was not one. Made dinner a little difficult. Overall it was an enjoyable one night stay.'

'Wonderful place, away from it all, but with quick wifi to stay in touch with the world. Prairie dogs, bunnies, hummingbirds and more to help you appreciate the beautiful flora and fauna of Colorado. Easy access to all the activities we planned. Plenty of bedding, towels, toiletries and even a couple bottles of wine to help us feel at home. Wonderful fire pit, clean BBQ and horseshoes for outdoor entertainment. Owner was quick to respond to any questions and concerns. Would definitely rent again!'

'The cabin and property it was on was just outstanding. I would guess it is the closest accommodation to Black Canyon of the Gunnison NP. Our hosts were very responsive, although we needed very little as the cabin was so well equipped. I wish we would have stayed another day there.'

'We so enjoyed staying at the "Moon House!" As the name suggests, there were little "moon" touches throughout the house from pictures, to a puzzle of the moon and a "Shoot the Moon" game. And, if you wanted to, you could view the real moon through the house telescope. What fun! The hosts, Chadwell and Carissa, were responsive and timely and clear in their communications. 'Rustig gelegen in Paonia, vlakbij Black Canyon en de Elk Loop. Het huis is in oude stijl ingericht en er is alleen AC in de slaapkamers. Het gasfornuis is uit 1940 , maar met de beschrijving erbij prima te gebruiken, ook de vaatwasser is gedateerd, maar werkt nog goed. De bedden zijn van goede kwaliteit. De eigenaren wonen aan de overkant van de zeer rustige weg en zijn erg vriendelijk. Dagelijks kwam een hertenfamilie door de achtertuin even een kijkje nemen. Bij aankomst was het huis erg warm...
