Luxurious villa made completely from local white stone is located in Podstrana, near the ancient city of Split with its UNESCO world heritage sites. Well-appointed villa with a private pool is ideal for families, couples and groups of friends that will enjoy the stunning sea view, the easy walking distance to the nearest beach (150m), and the fact that it's still far enough from other properties or traffic - so you can completely enjoy your peaceful piece of paradise in quiet.

Apart from its cultural heritage, wine, and olives, small tourist town of Podstrana is also known for its culinary offer and beautiful pebble beaches which stretch for 9km.

The 220 square meters of the villa provides comfort, spaciousness, and style in every room: 4 double bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 fully equipped kitchens – dining rooms and living rooms. All rooms are fully air-conditioned. From its two large verandas, you'll have a splendid view over the Adriatic sea that stretches all the way to nearby islands and offers a chance to experience unique, enchanting sunsets. Shops and restaurants are all within a few minutes' drive.

Traditional stone BBQ behind the villa is terrific for preparing some fresh fish from the nearby seafood market, using the Mediterranean herbs and vegetables available in the garden. This stress-free environment is perfect for anyone who wants to relax away from the hectic everyday life and see why Dalmatia is so popular on many must-visit lists.

It's also an excellent base to explore the fantastic variety of attractions that the region has to offer: Diocletian’s Palace in Split; the cities of Trogir and Omiš; a ferry ride to the extraordinary Croatian islands like Hvar, Brač, Šolta, Vis or Korčula.

There is a private parking space for 3 cars in front of the villa, but more can park on the land just next to it. A car is recommended if you wish to explore the nearby cities, but it's good to know that the bus station is just a minute of walk away.

Villa Diana is built and owned by our small family which will be there to give you a warm welcome, and we'll be happy to be at your disposal during the whole time of your stay.

On request, we can organize airport transfer, chef/cook service, babysitting service, daily trips or car, yacht and sailboat rental for you.

Other things to note

Refundable damage deposit (400 €) will be asked at your arrival and it's going to be returned to you before departure if nothing is broken at the villa.

Wunderschöner Urlaub

Die Villa Diana ist super ausgestattet, es fehlt an nichts. Die Lage ist traumhaft, nur 2 Minuten vom Strand entfernt. Duje ist ein perfekter Gastgeber! Kommen gerne wieder!

Exceptional property

We received the warmest of welcomes from Duje when we arrived at the villa. The property is beautifully furnished to a high standard with many personal touches. There was plenty of space for the 4 adults and 4 teenagers to relax both inside and outside the property and enjoy stunning views of the coastline. Duje recommended the restaurant Konoba Arogola which was so good we went twice to enjoy the food and the sunset. I would highly recommend this villa and will definitely be returning

Excellent Villa

Four of us stayed at this fantastic Villa, located c20 min drive south of Split. The villa is located close to beaches 200m and is in a secluded location with amazing views. The villa is perfect to relax in with a great pool, bbq and terraces to enjoy the views. Duje is a fantastic host and welcomed us on the first day and gave great recommendations on places to go and to eat. Highly recommend this Villa for families or couples who want a quiet relaxing holiday but close enough to beaches, towns (Split, Omis) and the Islands. The Villa is within walking distance to a local well stocked shop for day to day needs, Tavernas and good beaches. Best to have a hire car to explore further afield and will defintely look to return

Perfect location to relax

Our first impression of the villa was excellent. It matched the description very well, and everything provided was of a high standard. We were warmly welcomed by Duje, and in the run up to the vacation he had been very attentive to ensure we had everything we needed for the trip. The villa is set back from the main road, and not obvious in terms of signage - but once again, the instructions sent in advance by Duje meant that we were in the villa wishing 1hr from landing at Split airport. Whilst at the villa, we had no issues. We had hired a small car for some of our party, and for any other trips we tended to use Taxis - which were very easy to arrange, and good value. Most of the taxi services use minibus size vehicles, which is good when travelling with a large part [8 of us]. We had stopped on route to the villa to pick up some shopping from a larger supermarket, and there were several smaller shops on the main road near the villa. The nearest Tommy shop [about 15 min walk] is a good size for pretty much all you will need [including daily fresh bread]. There are one or two smaller shops nearer than this. The villa itself was of a good size, and was comfortable for 8 of us [all of us adults/teenagers]. The aircon was very welcome during parts of the day. The pool was clean, great BBQ facilities, what more can you wish for................... Overall, a great villa in a quiet location. If you are looking for a place to escape - and for a very comfortable place to hide - then I would definitely recommend Villa Diane. Thanks Duje !!

Magical villa in a great location with unforgettable sunsets and lovely hosts

Our stay in the villa Diana in the pre-season was an amazing experience overall and we can't recommend it enough! The villa is located on a great spot, only a few minutes of walk from the nearest beach and the cafe bars, restaurants and shops are also in the walking distance. At the same time, the distance from the main road and the other houses is far enough away that you can enjoy the silence while laying on the comfy sun loungers, drinking the amazing Croatian wine and staring at the breathtaking panoramic sea view - I'll never forget those spectacular sunsets! Also, the amazing city of Split is only 20 minutes away with a car and after visiting all the fascinating spots in the Diocletian's Palace and absorbing the historic significance it has, you can eat at some really incredible restaurants there - the hosts gave us some great recommendations. Duje and his lovely family were really kind and helpful, available for all our questions 24/7 - they also organized a transfer from the airport to the villa and generally made our stay a really pleasant experience. The villa looks even better than on the pictures, everything seems brand new and the love that was put into the object can be recognized by the numerous small details. The stone wood burning oven outside was also one of our favorite things - the fact that we were able to prepare fresh Croatian fish definitely adds to the authenticity of the whole experience. This place is magical!
