'Het landgoed rondom de accommodatie was fantastisch met veel boerderijdieren (ezels, paarden, geiten), hertjes in het wild en mooie wandelroutes het bos in. Verder was het personeel erg vriendelijk en spraakzaam en schonken ze heerlijke lokale wijnen bij het diner.'

'Clean large room with good bed and nice shower. Very good price too.
Dinner at the restaurant was surprisingly good, though the staff was not helpful. It took a very long time for us to get a table even though there was plenty of room. The manager was yelling at the staff and no one had time for us... When it came to paying, it was even worse. Super long wait at the bar to be able to pay, and they let other more frequent guests cut in line.
The breakfast the next morning was very basic,...

'Newly renovated , everything you may need including small kitchenette with dishes and cookware. However no need to cook as the restaurant has a chef who cooks delicious dinners in the restaurant eight there most nights. Breakfast also so good with fresh squeezed OJ and fresh eggs cooked to preference. Able to enjoy sights of Slovenia and Croatia from this home base. '

Residence San GiustoBarriera Vecchia-San Giacomo

'Spacious apartment that is well connected to the centre by bus.
The communication before arrival is a bit confusing. The address is an apartment building. When you ring the doorbell, you’re sent to a Best Western hotel across the street. There provide you with the key to the apartment building.
The apartment looks a bit dated but is comfy. The place could do with some more wall sockets. There are only about 3 or 4 in the multi room apartment. All of them are used already. So if you want charge...

'Marco was very helpful in checking us in and orienting us to Trieste. He had helpful suggestions about local restaurants and bars. I was having trouble with my WhatsApp and he was incredibly patient as worked it out! The flat was very clean, spacious, and nicely decorated and the bed was quite comfortable with plenty of covers. The flat was well-located, near transportation, restaurants, and bars, and with a bakery on the street below. We very much enjoyed our stay here!'
