'The breakfast is terrible and the snack machine is always empty. Its ridiculous they have 4 gambling machines. You will feel like a fool thinking the breakfast is any kind of amenity. We went across the street and got our own groceries . We brought an air frier from home to use. It masde a huge difference woth our stay. The room itself was renovated and clean. The linens are great quality considering its a little hotel. The staff are excellent folks and the price is what it is if you don't...

'DO NOT STAY HERE unless you want to breathe in cigarette stench and mold! Don't even get me started on mattresses that looked like they came from the dumps. I always look because, you know, bed bugs. And since they know bed bugs are an issue, the mattresses are wrapped in plastic. Nothing like hearing platic crunch when you sit on the mattress. I tried 2 different rooms and had to leave. Now, they're refusing to refund my money. Again DO NOT stay at this dump!'

'The place is not same as described'

'This was, I think, the creepiest place I've ever stayed. I do have to mention that the woman at the front desk was absolutely lovely--but she was the only good part of my stay. There were a couple of the tiny roaches in my shower both times I showered (I had to stay two nights). My door looked like it had been mangled in a knife fight. The hallway looked, no joke, very much like the hallway in The Shining. I felt safe enough, like physically, once I had locked the doors-- but it felt very dirty...

'When we arrived, there were signs that said split rock is closed for renovations until further notice. Sorry for the inconvenience. We called the main line and they said to go to their other property… Which looked just as deserted. No big signage for the main desk or the main lobby. It ruined our trip. The kids were scared. We drove back home. Would never attempt to stay here again.'

'When we got there they gave us a room that was dirty, then were able to change it for us, the room wasn’t that clean. We reserved it for 5 nights and the stuff was supposed to clean it every other day, they never cleaned while we were there.'

'They charged me a $15 per day "resort fee", even though booking thru Expedia is supposed to include all taxes and fees. Nice room, nice facilities. Restaurants were quite a ways from the rooms, because you had to walk around the casino to get to the restaurants.'
