The small town of Plains and surrounding area offers many outdoor activities including big game hunting, fishing, boating, swimming, rafting, hiking, snowmobiling, skiing, and huckleberry picking. Located only 11 miles from Quinn’s Hot Springs Resort and 22 miles from Symes Hot Springs. This home is located across from the public park and pool, which includes a small wading pool for toddlers, a large pool, a basketball court and picnic area. The pool is open Monday through Saturday 1:00-5:00, summer months. The Clark Fork River runs through the town of Plains. The public beach is less than a mile away. Hiawatha bike trail is about an hour away. Glacier National Park is only about 2 1/2 hours away. The bedroom has a queen bed. The living room has a pull out double bed. (Sofa sleeper) An air mattress and a tent can be provided if requested. Extended stay discounts include 10% for over 7 night stay and 20% for 30 days or more.

Good enough

Didn’t realize had to pay for the pool which is across the street. Good little park. Kiddy pool wasn’t open till we left which was annoying because I guess that one would of been free (I was told)Some cobwebs on the ceilingShower doesn’t drain well. Good water pressure in there though. Ac didn’t keep up with keeping the space cool at all and it was only a high of 85. This was the most annoying thing of our trip. Was happy to have the washer and dryer. Cute town. Good ice cream parlor. Train does go often which can be heard from the house.

If you find yourself needing to be in Plains, MT this is a good central location, perfect space for a couple and has a good supply of necessary items. I had no reason to contact the owner so can't talk about communication. Comfortable enough, although I will say if you have back issues, this might not be the place for you if you're staying longer than a night.

Truly is a cute and clean one bedroom house. Some quaintness like the chimney in the bedroom, Ample supplies for just about anything! Washer and dryer was a surprise not listed in description. Kitchen is very nice and well stocked except for drinking glasses and utensils. Having a dish washer was wonderful. Selection of movies was near the TV, but bring some of your favorites. TV channels are few and disappointing. Longer stays allow one to settle in, so to speak. Do watch you step exiting the door, too easy to miss a step. Not a great place for any handicapped visitors.. We did OK with proper attention to the steps.

Small town stay

Our group was so impressed by this sweet little bungalow! I can’t think of anything that was lacking. We stayed over a couple of warm days and the window a/c unit quickly cooled us off and was comfortable day and night and with two small children it was a bonus to be right across the street from a city park. Thank you for everything and we look forward to our return in November!

Base Camp

This was the perfect Base Camp for a Spring Bear hunt in the surrounding area. The ability to return back at night and shower and sleep in a comfortable bed. This property had every accommodation we needed for this once in a life time hunt. Super clean, great location and the town of Plains couldn't be nicer. Thanks for making this trip a reality. Our stay was good. Very clean, well furnished kitchen good comfortable bed. They list the property as sleeps three people but the couch sleeper is pretty old and mattress does not support an adult very well. We brought along a blow up bed. Great location!
