« Absolutely stunning! Peaceful and quiet. Very well stocked with facilities. Breakfast available, but bring your own food otherwise. If you get to the North Deck and didn't see it, you've just passed it. Look to the right of the North Deck and proceed to the furthest gate to the right. It's a steep climb by vehicle to access. Not for the faint of heart, but well worth it! Spanish is an asset with the onsite attendant, however, the owner speaks English and is only a call away. »

« Room was okay, not very big, but with an okay shower and toilet. Good AC, tnough noisy. Hotel is rrather isolated and rooms are not in a protected/gated zone, which can be hazardous. A drunk man knocked aggresively on my door at 1:30 in he morning....not a nice experience.. but I guess I was just unlucky...this was not the tenants' fault... « What a special place to have stayed! The Pax Guest House is located atop Mount Saint Augustine in one of the nicest locations on Trinidad. Fantastic views from this well-preserved guesthouse that dates to 1925. Fantastic hosts manage this property. They are very helpful and reliable. The guesthouse provides a very delicious breakfast in the morning. Guests should be mindful however that bathroom facilities for some rooms (not all) are shared with other guests. »
