« Perfect spot for those that don’t enjoy large crowds! Quiet and cute little neighborhood and still plenty to do on a cold windy rainy weekend. Lots of wine tasting! Only thing we would have enjoyed more was a TV to watch the U of M game! The pub closes at 9 in the fall! Other than that it was perfect. Clean and Karen was very attentive! We would love to come back some day! »

« The cottage itself was lovely and we enjoyed our stay there. That said, it is on a main road so there was quite a bit of traffic noise. Also, the mattress in the main bedroom was saggy but there was a futon that was more comfortable. Unfortunately, there was a short power outage while we were there and since the house has a well, that meant we had no water. While the property manager did respond to our call and kept us updated on when the power might return, we were surprised that she did not...

« We have been traveling to Northern Michigan every summer for almost ten years now and compared with the two other houses we've rented in that time this was hands down the most comfortable, well maintained home we've had the pleasure of staying at. Quiet and welcoming with wonderful views of the water and access to a great Michigan beach. Close to Northport (and other communities) but with a relaxing sense of seclusion. »

« Had a short family stay at this wonderful property. Everything is as described, down to the fully-stocked kitchen spices. The beds were comfy. The house is spacious enough to allow those who want to quietly chill or read to be away from others-- plus there's the property. The proximity to the water is perfect. Sandy beach, great for swimming or strolling. All in all a five start experience for us. We're looking forward to booking again. Thanks to the owner for making this gem available! »
