The house was very clean, well taken care of, and stocked with everything we needed. (In the main house there were a few more stairs than we were aware of, and a few very narrow and steep staircases which made it a bit more difficult for one of our family members who recently had broken a few ribs to get around, but not a deal breaker by any means) The pool was excellent (but could use a little shade - we were all vying for space under the one umbrella)Overall we had an excellent stay.

Wonderful experience!Beautiful, fenced in, in-ground pool, pool house, games, all the necessities in the pool house, including couches, towels, TVs, bathroom, kitchen area with full dishes, cups, utensils, etc. Main house has lots of beds, bedrooms and bathrooms. Big kitchen and dining areas. Family rooms, TV, pool table and foosball. Plenty of room(s) for all the kids, grandkids and a dog!Plus separate building with bedrooms and kitchen area. So this is Pittstown!

We chose this beautiful country estate for our annual family vacation. Hopefully next year we'll get to stay longer! The estate is truly perfectly appointed. It's like the hosts have thought of EVERYTHING! Easily traveled to for all families coming together to relax and enjoy each other's company. The Beneduce Vineyard just minutes down the road provided some offsite entertainment, but the truth is, you really don't need to leave the estate. The pool, poolhouse, main house and grounds are so entertaining there is barely a reason to leave. Looking forward to our next visit already!

Beyond Expectations

Absolutely fabulous home. Very well appointed. Super clean. Meticulous.The kitchen has everything ( more than my own) that you will need to enjoy preparing a family dinners!Every bedroom is unique and travels back in time!My guests were very comfortable. The owners have done an outstanding restoration to this beautiful home and property. The cottage is equally as lovely with two bedrooms, kitchen and bath. Great game room and a very special living area to enjoy a book and bourbon.Perfect home for a summer family gathering.Our only and I mean only disappointment ( we are TV people) is in the top bedroom no TV. It’s a perfect bedroom if you also have children that you do not want to be separated from.This is a fabulous home.

Perfect stay for family reunion

This was the perfect perfect place for our family reunion. We had family flying into Newark from all over the world and this was so easy to get to, and the perfect place to relax, catch up and have space! We utilized every space of the property and had ages from 3-70. Jeff was so accommodating and very much available when we needed to ask him questions, etc. highly recommend this as a place for a family gathering!

Amazing property!

We stayed at this property for my in-law’s 50th wedding anniversary celebration. There were 19 of us in the group - the youngest ones being 3 and 4. The house was spotless - so clean. The details in the home were absolutely beautiful. We spent much of the time in the pool which was perfect. We’ve stayed in several rental houses over the years and this home was the favorite. There is so much room we never felt like we were crammed. No one had to wait for a bathroom. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything you need to fix meals. Walmart and Shop Rite grocery store are five minutes away which was perfect for last minute needs. The owner was very responsive and so friendly. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Amazing spot for large groups, fabulous pool!

We were looking for a large and comfortable house to gather for a reunion of college friends (+ their spouses and kids) coming in from around the country, and this place was absolutely perfect for us as a group of 12 adults and 6 kids. Every room was great and the place was immaculate and clean, there were so many thoughtful touches to the space and we had so much fun hanging out together at the house, cooking meals, and spending a ton of time in the pool. Jeff was incredibly responsive and helpful, he offered a long list of ideas for activities, and answered all of my questions about the space very quickly (what types of coffee makers? Keuring AND drip filter!) and also accommodated us having a slightly early check-in so a toddler could nap. Things to note - the back upstairs bedroom does have very steep stairs so isn't the best option for little kids (we had adults without kids take that room), and the 3rd floor master suite is absolutely amazing, but the landing on that floor is very low and my husband (6'1'') hit his head on the ceiling so that bedroom isn't the best for taller people. We would absolutely stay here again, thank you so much Jeff!

This property was extremely nice. Checked in with ease. Kitchens were very stocked with everything you would need. Tons of space. The home was very clean. Pool and pool house was nice to have on the hot days. Would definitely stay here again!

Family and friends gathered at this amazing property to celebrate my mom's 92 birthday. It is our second time here, and I cannot recommend the property highly enough. The house is amazing and perfectly appointed. The fully stocked kitchen (appliances, dishes, pots, pans, glassware) is a huge bonus so all guests need to bring is food. Many VRBOs do not provide linens and towels, so having those items included is another huge plus. If you are looking for a place to stay in Hunterdon County, this is it.

My family is spread out from Montana to Virginia, and they all wanted to come to Jersey to visit our mom, who is 91 years young. Your home made this the most special holiday gathering we could have asked for, and we leave with many wonderful memories. We wanted for nothing as the house had everything we needed. One of the best VRBO experiences ever!

Amazing stay, lasting memories!

My dozen-odd friends and I stayed here for a long weekend with small children, babies, and a schmedium-size dog. In short, we had a wonderful stay and thoroughly utilized much of the property's features. We filled every bed in the house and all found things to enjoy in the indoor common areas. We cooked elaborate meals in the beautiful, well-stocked kitchen, and dined indoors and out. We had so much fun in the pool and played a series of games on the lawns. A very large supermarket was conveniently located a 5-min drive away, and the surrounding area is downright bucolic. We also enjoyed great weather during our stay. I wouldn't hesitate to book this property again.

Son Hart and Kristina’s Wedding at the Loft in Whitehouse Station, NJ

We are from Northern NJ but most of my wife’s family is from Michigan. We scheduled the rehearsal/“night before” dinner at the Ryland Inn and the wedding at the Loft a new wedding venue. Kings Manor is the perfect place to relax and enjoy - only about 15-20 minutes ride away from both venues… if you’re looking for a great place for family and friends … this is the place! The host Jeff met us on arrival-went over the place - which was beyond our expectations! The pool house, the 2 bedroom guest house, and the manor house was amazing. Both grilles are natural gas - pool deck and main house are natural gas - so no worries about propane. Pool house - game table, shuffle board table, bathroom, fridge and bar - perfect! Highly recommend this place… if we could rate more than 5 stars - we would make it 10 Stars!!! John and Kristin And accommodated our group to the max!

Group of Longtime Friends

Myself and a group of college friends gathered here to celebrate our 50th birthdays. The kitchen was spacious and well-stocked; the property gorgeous and well-maintained; and the entire historic home tastefully remodeled from top to bottom! Our host was immediately responsive to questions via text. The home offered us plenty of room to spread out. Lots of comfortable beds and bathrooms. The main common area could use more seating and lamps. The pool and pool house were a hit for us! We enjoyed the second kitchen/bar area, the comfy seating and the game tables. We had a private chef in one night, and, the next night, were greeted warmly at the Inn at Pittstown; some lovely local ladies even surprised us by paying for our drinks! The house has everything you need for a “staycation,” with a Walmart and supermarket up the street for supplies. There are limited attractions in the area: we walked around New Hope, PA, checked out Frenchtown, and considered tubing along the Delaware.
