I really wanted to like this boutique hotel—the decor was stylish, the room had a great vibe, and the location was convenient. On the surface, it checks a lot of boxes.
However, the “contactless reception” model ended up being a major drawback. There was effectively no staff available at any point during our stay. While a contact number was provided, it took two full days—after we had already checked out—to receive a response. That’s not just inconvenient; it makes it impossible to resolve even basic issues in real time.
And there were issues. There was no drinking water available, which feels like a very basic amenity. More significantly, there was an ant infestation. Ants were crawling on us while sitting on the furniture and even in bed. Any time we set a drink down, they immediately swarmed it—my coffee was ruined more than once. We had also brought back cookies from a wedding, and the ants got into them before we could even seal them properly.
The overall experience felt very much like “you’re on your own.” If you need anything beyond a visually appealing room—whether it’s assistance, cleanliness, or basic hospitality—you may be better off glamping.
In short: nice aesthetics and location, but the lack of support and cleanliness issues made the stay frustrating and not worth it.
