If you value sleep, peace, or basic human decency, avoid the Economy Inn by Pittsburgh Airport at all costs. I stayed here after a long late-night work shift, desperately needing rest. Instead, I was bombarded with aggressive checkout reminders—phone calls and literal banging on the door starting 30 MINUTES before checkout time.
I get it—check out is check out. But harassing your guests before the posted time is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. It felt like they were trying to drag me out with a broom. No courtesy, no patience, and absolutely zero hospitality.
I’ve stayed in hotels all over the country, and I’ve never experienced such hostile treatment from staff. If you’re looking for a restful stay, this is not the place. Spend the extra few bucks elsewhere—you’ll thank yourself.
