« The hosts are helpful and friendly. The room was very comfortable, with a great view, and a private bathroom close by. There was a kettle in the room, with tea, coffee, fresh milk and drinking water. The dining room is quite grand, with another excellent view. We could help ourselves to fruit, juice and yogurt, the bread had just been made, and the cooked part of the breakfast was also excellent. Parking is next to the house, well away from the road. We will be back if we stay in the area again. »

« Very nice cottage with beautiful gardens. The beds were comfortable and the shower pressure was great. The owner provided tea, coffee and milk, which was a very nice touch as we arrived very late. Would definitely stay again. »

« I had never stayed in a room above a Public House but I was amazed just how good the Staff made me feel. I was escorted to a lovely clean room with excellent facilities. I soon realised that the owners took personal control of guest relations when I requested extra warm bedding, it was delivered to my room by one of the co-owners, in person! « We had a great stay here for a few nights with the family over Easter. The barn is lovely and well equipped, the kitchen had everything we needed including a big multi-oven cooker which made cooking for 6 people with varied dietary requirements very straightforward. The garden is lovely and we were lucky enough to catch some of the trees in full blossom. We enjoyed some superb walking and there was plenty of information provided to help us find paths that didn’t show up on my internet...

« The local church is lovely and worth a visit. Good walks on Offa's Dyke's path. The property would suit a book fanatic as the place is full of expensive first edition copies and cobwebs! Barking dogs at night from a nearby property kept us awake. Otherwise ok. »
