« The staff was exceptional and the rooms were large. My only issue was with Expedia unfortunately. I booked through their app and one of the pictures shows a grill and says "grill/picnic area". We brought along nice steaks to throw on the grill in celebration of our anniversary. However, the grill was not for public use! Very misleading. The hotel staff tried to make it right by upgrading our room to one with a kitchen, but we turned it down. Our room was fine, just disappointed. Pool area...

« Very uncomfortable bed and I had requested disability room. Toliet was lower than a normal toliet, impossible to get in shower since tub was so high and even with grab bars it was too difficult to get in. Air conditioner didn’t handle the heat that was happening. Staff is not very courteous and welcoming. Would not stay there again. »

« The home is beautifully restored with modern touches, yet remains true to it's roots. The property has a short path to a river with benches to relax. Robin, the host was very personable and served a lovely breakfast. The other touches that were unique was an ice machine, refrigerator, water, soda and a Keurig machine available for use in the common area. And Cookies! This was the perfect place to relax and unwind! »

« Our stay started off by the desk reception guy checking us in told us that we would NOT be getting our Hilton points because we were Expedia members. He ripped a note off the wall to show it to me and said, "that would be double dipping and we don't do that here." That has never happened or been said to me, ever! So, that was weird. « Le rapport Qualité/prix n'y était pas du tout. C'était 2 à 3 fois plus cher que l'équivalent en raison d'un évènement important à Oshkosh vers lequel on se rendait. Nous avons nettement plus apprécié notre séjour au Cobblestone de Hartford qui était 2 fois moins cher et de bien meilleure qualité. »

« This listing is fake still being used by the previous owner. I’m not sure why this is still being used by Expedia. »

« I booked a stay planning for a possible extra guest and two small dogs which could not make it. I loved the fact that the hotel is dog-friendly. Without the extra guest and doggies, however, the room felt underwhelming, and one of the beds had a very weak and creaky mattress that should have already been retired. All amenities were adequate, and the young man at the front desk upon arrival was excellent, but overall, the hotel did not really rise to its nightly rate, imo. »
