'This beautiful house is situated on a perfect location, with a great view over the Tuscan hills of the Val d'Asso. It is just a 15 minute walk to the center of the nice town of Montisi. By car, it is easy to visit well known places like Florence, Pienza and Siena. 'The property was absolutely charming. It really had that homey, Italian, Tuscan charm about it. The kids and my husband loved it too. I wish I had planned for more days there. We didn’t have time to partake in the cooking class or truffle hunting, but I guess that just leaves a reason to come back. The location was great too because it’s in the country away from the busy cities, but a close enough drive to all the various Tuscan sites.The owners were very nice and spoke good enough English....

'A perfect villa for a large family. The air conditioning in the upstairs and first floor sleeping areas worked very well. There is no AC in the basement sleeping area or the common areas, but they remained relatively cool. The outdoor area has a great pool, patio, and olive grove/garden. The location is very secure and within easy driving of pretty much anywhere you may want to visit in Tuscany. Do yourself a favor and avoid booking through VRBO. They will charge you hundreds of dollars in fees...
