This property was such a mix of good and bad. They had such friendly staff who were willing to help out with all of our requests, a great pool with direct access to the beach and beautiful views, and wonderful service in cleaning the rooms.
However, there was literally not a single decoration or wall hanging of any kind in any room in our suite. It was sterile and unwelcoming. In addition, the set up of how the bathroom connected to the rooms was not ideal for privacy. There was no way to lock the doors to keep my teenagers from entering the bathroom from their room, this privacy was difficult.
They provided only 4 small bottles of water per day for 4 people- I'm not sure why they couldn't provide access to a water filter or even just more water, but it was rather inconvenient to need to walk to the 7- eleven to carry gallons of water back regularly.
Though they did such a nice job of combing the sand at the beach for the hotel, when the tide went out, the mud left there is filled with trash. I realize they can't control the tide or what is carried in by the water, but it was somewhat off-putting, even when the tide was in, you knew you were wading through trash. Also, there was not easy access to the paddle to quickly take the kayaks out without walking up the almost 100 steps to the main desk to ask for help.
Side note- this property would be impossible for anyone with mobility constraints, as you will walk the stairs frequently.
