« We loved this place from the moment we arrived. It has all the modern conveniences but they’ve kept historical appearances. The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfy; each bedroom had its own en-suite. It was a perfect location for two of my favorite activities—bicycling and fishing. Too bad the weather didn’t cooperate:( the hosts were gracious and responsive. »

« This past weekend we stayed at The Estate for the PSU game and we were so happy with the property that we decided to rent it again next year. The house was exactly as described in the listing. It was extremely clean, and every little thing was thought of. From specific instructions on how to use everything in the home, to open communication with the owners, and amazing little touches throughout the house. We had a fully stacked mini fridge, donuts, snacks, toothbrushes and razors and all sorts...

« The house and property were even more beautiful than the pictures. We stayed for a long graduation weekend at PSU, and really enjoyed the calm, peaceful atmosphere and great scenery. The drive back and forth to State College was very easy. Would gladly stay at this property again! »

« We were greet by a super sweet lady, Sharon who showed us around the property. I would not Consider this property as “having all the amenities of home”’as there is no WiFi, couch or tv” but it’s the perfect place for. “Camping” style trip as the mattresses are very thin. There are No places deliver food to this location so make sure to bring everything you need as the closest store is about 25 minutes away. Also a little further of a drive to PSU as we realized. We will definitely be checking...

« A nostalgic cabin in the woods. It has all the conveniences needed for comfort. Doans Bones BBQ is practically across the street and has excellent BBQ! Wish we had more time to explore the area, but only stayed here to attend a few events at Penn State, which was about a 20 min drive. The owners were very responsive to any questions we texted.
