'Nice hotel for 1 or 2 nights. Close to the ferry to/from Puntarenas. Located in a hill ensuring great views. Welcome to the hotel was very friendly. We arrived early but that was not a problem at all. Personnel in general ok but not all very friendly. New to us in Costa Rica where we find hotelstaff in general very kind. 'Was a bit disappointed with our stay here. I’d read that the rooms were a bit dated, but it was rundown in aspects as well. The window in our bathroom had a broken hinge, the towels were old and tattered, the faucet discoloured, but the worst part was the bugs in the room. There was an ant (?) infestation - they’d burrowed a few holes into the bathroom doorframe and they were coming in and out of them and we found them in various places around the room.
