'My wife and I stayed at the guesthouse for the first time last weekend and found it adorable. Everything worked well. Loved the little extra touches the proprietor provides such as a small chocolate on each pillow. Lovely reading room. Especially impressed with the outdoor kitchen and its facilities. Quite unique.'

'The house, while small, was comfy and had everything we needed for our stay. The beds were very comfortable, as was the couch. I found the kitchen to be well stocked with plastic ware for the kids to eat on as well (terrific idea!) Dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, all look quite new. The kids found Connect 4 which they enjoyed playing, but no other games or cards to speak of (so just bring your own). We made use of the Weber and the coonara (wood supplied). Only a 10 minute walk from great coffees, even shorter walk to a great lunch place and a quick drive to the dog beach. 'Our stay at Pelicans was excellent. It was a bright, light filled beautiful place with views across the road to the water. Artworks by the owner gave a unique and special atmosphere. The house was warm and everything was provided from kitchen ware to toiletries, as well as books and games to pass the time.The area was very quiet and an easy walk to the shops, wharf and other attractions.We particularly enjoyed watching the pelicans gliding around over head at sunset.
