Lucky Bag 5 Bedroom/4 Bathroom Ocean Front Home in Pawleys Island

This five bedroom, oceanfront home is located in the Bird's Nest on the south end of Pawley’s Island and is perfect for your next family vacation!

Two stories featuring one bedroom on the main floor and four bedrooms on the top floor. The scenic ocean front views are sure to take you away. Fully equipped kitchen with all new appliances (including TWO refrigerators) as well as a Keurig, a drip coffee maker, toaster and an air fryer. The family room has all new furniture and a new 70” TV for family movies! Swivel chairs are great for relaxing in the morning with a cup of coffee and enjoying the wonderful view. The dining table easily seats 12 with a second table that will seat an additional 4. New high speed WiFi, new wash tower for your laundry needs, cable TV in the living room and two bedrooms, and central HVAC. Ground floor bedroom features a CalKing bed and a bathroom. The second floor bedrooms consist of two rooms with a CalKing bed (one of which is a master suite with a dedicated bathroom), one room with a queen and full/twin bunkbed, and one room with two queens.

Beautiful property, direct beach access, kitchen super well stocked with dishes, cooking and meal prep accessories. Beautiful decor, quality and tasteful. Everything was very clean. We loved our stay and highly recommend! FYI beach towels not provided.

Birthday Weekend

We rented the house with some other couples and their infants to celebrate our daughters 2nd birthday. We had family come into town and some other friends locally come visit us for a party on the beach. The beachfront location was excellent and the downstairs carport provided a nice spot to set up tables for food and drinks. The house was very clean and there was more than adequate fridge space and cookware. The two refrigerators provided enough room for all of our beverages along with food for the weekend. We definitely enjoyed the house, and would consider renting it again. My only complaint is that there was not shampoo/conditioner/body wash present in the bathrooms. Based on our previous stays at rental properties, this is usually something most properties have (especially at this price point). Overall it’s a 9.5/10 from me.

Great house for 8-12 people!

This was our first year renting an oceanfront house and it was well worth it. The house was plenty big enough for all 8 of us and very clean and modern. I guess the only drawback was, that it was right beside the public access to the beach, so there was some foot traffic and people set up right beside us a few times. Other than that, a totally positive experience!!

Great stay in newly renovated Lucky Bag

We booked this trip prior to the renovations, so we’re pleasantly surprised to see all the updates upon arrival. We had a great week in the house. The layout and size works perfectly for our extended family and we have planned to return next summer! The house was well stocked with anything we needed for meals and the long table made a great setting for our meals. The house sits next to a public access walkway, so naturally the beach is more crowded than other areas away from this access…but on Pawleys “crowded” is hardly even the right term. Never more than 1 row deep. The beach in this area of the island was dredged up in the past couple years, so it is very wide and has tons of shells/teeth for those that enjoy the search. My wife found over 130 shark teeth in our weeks stay!! The only minus to the beach dredging is that the wave break was a bit harsh for our 4 year olds outside of low tide. But that’ll level out over the years to come. Highly recommend staying here, and we plan on coming back ourselves!

Great Beach location

We were in town for a wedding and wanted to extend our stay and get in some beach time. This property was perfect. It is right in the beach with great access to a very large beach. Also very close to a supermarket, golf and some great restaurants and shopping. All the bedrooms are large plenty large enough for your stay. The dinning room and living room have an open concept. This provides tons of room to hangout and visit with many people. We will certainly be coming back to this location.

Perfect location for a beach getaway! Our family planned this trip for my Mother's birthday we could not have chose a better location. The Kitchen is more than spacious with most of the amenities minus garbage bags and dish soap. The kitchen had a few unwanted guest but to be expected in the low lands. Spacious bed rooms and a plus of washer and dryer. The covered parking , multiply balconies with access directly to the beach ..also ...priceless. We had a wonderful time and look forward to return.

Comfortable setting, loved the beach!

The house was situated close to the water’s edge and suitable for my family of 11 but away from the hustling crowds. Access to mainland was quick and easy with plenty of restaurants nearby. The only complaint was the adjacent public parking which brought in more traffic on the beach and occasional rowdy noise at night. We had minor problems with the house but they were handled the next day. Management was very helpful. Overall we liked the location and will return to this location.

Exemplary check in process. Location of the beachfront property was perfect. The adjacent public beach access was never an issue. The house ad more than enough room for all 9 of us to spread out. The only complaint involved the noisy acoustics caused primarily by the hardwood floors and steps and the relative lack of noise absorbing wall hangings.

The location of the property on the beach was excellent. The house has been neglected by the current owners. Blinds were cheap and broken. Plumbing was hooked up wrong. The kitchen was the original adequate at best. The key only fit the front access lock. Doors from the back door and balcony were a different lock so you couldn’t secure the house from the beach if you wanted to exit from the beach. No keys were given for those. For the amount of money charged you would have expected a better property.
