'A/C worked fine, room was relatively clean, bed was comfortable, tv worked good, had a mini fridge, no carpet, nice shower. Outside was a bit scummy with lots of litter and spilled coke that was never cleaned up. Inside bathroom window had no lock and no screen. I was alone, but I know if my wife had been there she wouldn’t feel safe and I wouldn’t leave anything in the room of value when I went out. Manager didn’t seem concerned about window not locking. '

'Horrible. Really bad location, witnessed a drug deal happen right in front of my room door. There are hidden cost such as a parking fee and the owners seem shady. Room was fine but very little offered for the cost. Didn't seem too dirty but also wasn't clean. Felt unsafe and left early, did not even stay the night'

'The room was reasonably clean but shabby with discolored carpeting and no blankets for the bed. My wife got cold at night. Bathroom was nicest part of room as remodeled more recently than elsewhere. Dodgy clientele near us with some late night arguments and door banging. '

'A flop house comes to mind when I think of this property. Ussually cab drivers know their town and mine was leery of the place. “watch your belongings” was his words of wisdom, but with only one other person in the shared dorm I was less vigilant. The storage locker was too small for my Rollie. Suffice it to say the room was clean, comfortable and quiet just over the river from the hustle of Portland. '

'The rooms were fine and the location of the hotel is great. There is no included breakfast and even though there is a legitimate restaurant, it's really expensive and not very good. Parking is extra ($30/day) and the room with city views have extra charges not on Expedia so you get double charged. Just a mediocre hotel in a good spot.'

'Breakfast menu was repetitive and The stay was overall good, but the bathroom design was inconvenient. The shower did not have a proper door or barrier to keep the water contained, so water would spill all over the bathroom floor after every shower. It made the bathroom messy and slippery.'

'all in all it is a good place to stay. I would stay again. The breakfast was very good. I probably ordered the wrong item for dinner. There was plenty of food.'

'Had a great experience with the Mark Spencer hotel. From check in to check out everything went so smooth. They allowed me to check in early. Helped me with my luggage. Staff was super friendly. Room was very clean and plenty comfortable. The gym room could use a little help but that’s not a huge deal. Would definitely recommend staying here. '
