'OMGosh!!! What a great surprise this place was. Right in the center of the action and a short drive to Patriots Point, the Old Village in Mount Pleasant and close enough for an affordable Uber to Charleston. So many restaurants were within walking distance and we could hear all the live music while we were swimming in the pool. This was a great place for our family (kids 10 and 13) because the area was full of college kids and young adults (who were all very respectful) but the hotel itself...

'This is a beautiful property with great rooms. Mount Pleasant is right over the Ravenel Bridge in case you want to get to some of the sites of Charleston. Everywhere we wanted to go was less than 10 minutes. The breakfast was great, and the staff was incredibly helpful, especially Ms. Stefanie and Ms. Tommie. Everyone was wonderful, and I will absolutely be back!'

'We loved our stay at the Palmetto!! Right when you walk in the staff greets you and the hotel just smells good! There are always drinks in the lobby- water and sweet tea! The room was exactly as pictured and the staff serviced the room multiple times a day which was very nice! The breakfast was minimal but what you’d expect for a continental breakfast- fruit, grits, pastries, hard boiled eggs, biscuits and gravy, and yogurt parfaits. Would’ve loved to see some bagels and cream cheese or bacon or...
