'This was one of the most wonderful places I have ever stayed, truly. The location was right on the water, the hospitality was outstanding and the room was huge and beautifully decorated. We received an Expedia VIP treat (bottle of wine) when we checked in. The happy hour featured a cocktail as well as a variety of wines. 'Everything was awesome at this hotel. The breakfast was delicious, the bed was comfortable, and everything was spotless. My only complaint was that they only had queen beds when I booked a king. However, that was attributed to booking on Expedia and we were given a room with a nice view when I mentioned it was my 35th wedding anniversary. A good compromise.'

'We were disappointed for a $500+ per night hotel. Mold in the shower, poop from the previous guest on the toilet. No turn down service that was advertised. Staff was very nice and the complimentary wine and snack hour in the afternoon was appreciated. But overall, not up to the standards of a luxury boutique hotel.'

'The sink was easily clogged, and it took two days to fix the running toilet (I ended up doing it). The staff were very helpful and friendly, but the cockroach was a sign of an issue that needs to be addressed. Positives: Staff were very friendly, the location was very convenient, and the valet service was very efficient. I loved the people, but wish I didn’t make any multi-legged new acquaintances.'
