'We had the most lovely holiday here for my husbands 50th birthday. The swimming at the beach is perfect and very safe and the sand is lovely to walk on, compared to nearby places where it is rocky and not suitable for barefeet. The bed was comfortable and we loved the ceiling fan, so good on a hot night. Everything was as described and it was really hard to leave (even the dog was whining when we packed up to go home!) We hope to visit again if you will have us!'

'The host was very friendly and welcoming. The property is very bright, cozy and comfortable. The host pays amazing attention to detail, way beyond the expectations of a holiday home. This was our second stay at Barefoot Cottage and we would thoroughly recommend it. Waipu Cove is a beautiful location too.'
