Lodges in Wolf Island Provincial Park

'Was going to Showplace Theatre so decided to stay overnight in Peterborough. Hotel was so close to Theatre. For 1 night stay the price was great and location. Had a few issues with the room. Plug for tub was missing and leaking. Went down to front desk to advise them. They had repair man on sight and he came up right away with plug. Job to repair leak would be a bigger job so would have to do the next day as it was not a major issue. Would be nice if TV was larger ie 40 - 43 inch.'

'Staff moved us from upper level to lower level, which was much better for myself being with medical issues, very much. Appreciated parking was in front of the room. Thank you'

'They were easy to deal with. Good Breakfast and room.'

'Bedbugs! .. no complimentary coffee in the rooms .. loud partier's all night .. specifically to my room there was blood splatter on the walls, we moved a mattress and there was blood stains on the box spring, damage on bathroom door both sides damage on entrance door the hinges were torn off, something crazy happened in that room and they still rent it .. it looks to me like it's under New management by new Canadians .. enough said'

'Margaret the host is lovely and the space was exactly what we needed. The suite is clean, comfortable and private. The grounds are beautiful and we enjoyed our morning coffee on the private balcony. We would definitely book again!'

'Excellent all around'

'I went as a solo traveller in fall on a work trip. I was upgraded to a room with a porch and a view. The staff were excellent. I had dinner one night in the restaurant and the food and service was very good. My room was very comfortable. I would like to go back in season and stay in a cottage.'

'My wife and I stayed at the Westwind Inn this past weekend and were disappointed by both the value and customer service. When we arrived, the parking lot was nearly empty. We learned only 3 of the Inn's 32 rooms were occupied Friday night. Due to issues with the Inn's website, I had to book through Expedia and was assigned a woods-facing room. Given how empty the property was, I asked about moving to a lake-view room. Although many were available, I was charged an additional $75 per night plus...

'Hosts did a good job with the little extras like tea, shampoo and laundry soap which was much appreciated.'

'Paul and Carolyn were by far the best hosts I have had, the property was exceptional. It was clean and exactly what the listing said! If we needed anything, Paul was over within minutes and made sure we were comfortable and had whatever we needed! We even ended up staying an extra night cause we loved it! It was lovely to have some cleaning supplies as well to tidy up our space! And the animals at the front were just a plus! I will be renting again if we are welcomed back!! This definitely would...

'Beautiful spot. Was nice to see the sunrise on the lake, and enjoy the kayaks. Very rustic cottage!'
