'Superservice from staff, very friendly, helpfull and kind.'

'Rooms were clean, and the staff was friendly. Fiddler next door is a plus for ordering food at any time.'

'The only issue was the neighbouring residents bordering the property (I don’t know which neighbour) had a dog that barked nonstop into the night and I’m not complaining about the dog, I’m complaining about the dog’s human who didn’t seem to be attending to the dog’s needs. I worried that the poor dog was being neglected.'

'Nice entry, welcoming staff and large room'

'I honestly struggle a little to understand the extremely high rating this B&B has. Don’t get me wrong, the rooms are very private and spacious, and I personally love older properties with character. 'Way overpriced, just a bed, nothing else there. Would not stay there again.'

'Very clean and quiet place to spend private time in. I checked in pretty late, but the staff was so helpful in assisting my check inn and offered me a a good size bedroom. Am just so grateful and will stay there again.'

'We attended a wedding at St Albans we stayed at the Royal Oaks we were very comfortable great place to stay.'

'Nice place, it’s actually one room in a large house. Toilet and shower are shared between a couple of rooms, it’s ambiguous in the room description. Still a decent price for the area. '

'Unfortunately found a few black hairs in the shower and one in my bed'

The cabin is cosy and the bed was comfortable. My fellow campers were glad to shelter within when the heat and flies became overwhelming at the campsite where they were. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking up your own meals and dining in. The bathroom is a little small but it is clean. There was no curtain for the...

'Building was dated, but it was clean and tidy. Reception was pleasant. Good experience overall.'

'It is old and doesn’t match with the photos Towels are super old and not dare to use. The door lock fallen out before I moved in. Bed is ok and just the whole room below my standard.'
